Programme Details
The FREE 4- Day Camp starts every year in the month of May. Students will be divided into few groups to experience and understand the various departments and procedures at the Yashoda Hospitals at Malakpet, Secunderabad and Somajiguda. Their activities will include the following:
- Visiting Out-Patient Department
- Diagnostic centre
- Operation theatre
- In-patient wards
- Cath Lab, Blood Banks
- Cancer Institute
- Nursing stations
- Learning CPR techniques and basic techniques (Taking BP Reading etc.)
- Observing the hi-tech hospital machines
- Accompanying doctors in the emergency rooms
- Attending lectures by prominent doctors.
- Lunch with Key Doctors
- Facility Tour
At the end of the programme, students would be awarded Certificates of Participation and would be considered graduates of the YDC.
